March 2015: Our abstract on training BMIs without Supervised Data is accepted for a talk presentation at 7th International Workshop on Statistical Analysis of Neuronal Data (SAND7).
March 2015: I presented our work on unsupervised training of brain machine interfaces at COSYNE 2015.
February 2015: I am happy to announce our new result regarding the theory of dynamic optimization. To summarize we have found an efficeint and consistent solution for the problem of dynamic optimization (dynamic programming) in very large-scale problems. Our results show that it is possible to re-express the problem of Bellman-residual minimization, previously thought to be NP-hard, as a linear programming, which makes it possible to use very efficient tools of LP to solve this problem. This paves the way to efficiently solve the problem of dynamic optimization in very large-scale (or continuous) problems.
January 2015: Extended abstract with Eva Dyer, Hugo Fernandes, Lee Miller and Konrad Koerding is accepted to COSYNE 2015.
September 2014: I joined the Center for Bionic Medicine at RIC to work on the fall detection using mobile phone data project.
